Case Studies in Scientific Research Ethics is a graduate-level, one-credit class designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of research ethics. The class is discussion-based and focuses on identifying, understanding and addressing ethical problems that arise in research. Topics include: authorship, conflicts of interest, human subjects research, animal welfare, scientific misconduct, intellectual property and others. This course is the most efficient way to fulfill current NIH, NSF and Mississippi State education guidelines on the responsible conduct of research.
